Common mistakes and how to avoid them

The biggest mistake is glitching text that has to be understood, like a phone number, a meeting time, or a link. WhatsApp will happily send it, but a wa.me link buried under combining marks can break when someone taps it, and numbers become unreadable. Keep functional information plain and glitch only the decorative parts.

Another common slip is pushing the intensity so high that the marks spill several lines up and cover the text above your status or message. Troubleshooting

The glitch shows as plain boxes or question marks. That usually means the recipient’s device or app version cannot render that particular combining mark.
